Become a College Nine and College Ten Activities Office Assistant!

The Activities Office Assistant (AOA) is part of the College Nine and College Ten Programs & Activities Team. The Activities Office Assistant works under the general supervision of the College Programs Coordinator (CPC) and Assistant College Programs Coordinator (ACPC). Working in collaboration with the Community Programs Assistants (CPAs), Fall Planning Assistant (FPA) and Spring Planning Assistant (SPA), the Activities Office Assistant helps with the general operation of the Activities Office. The Activities Office Assistant handles general office tasks (copying, posting, running errands, etc.) and assists the Activities Team's student leaders with tasks related to their programs.

There is one AOA position available at College Nine and College Ten. The position is for the 2020/21 academic year.

There are three parts to the Activities Office Assistant Application:

1. The Online Application

2. The Supplemental Application

  • Please allow yourself enough time to answer the supplemental questions.

  • You will also be asked to select some prefered and interview times. Please hold the dates you select on your calendar.

3. Two References

  • Ask two people who can speak objectively of your skills and abilities to serve as references, for example previous employers, professors, activity advisors, etc. Direct them to our Online Reference form, which can be found here.

  • You may also ask your RA or another student leader who knows you, though only one reference can come from a student leader.

  • Ask your references well ahead of the deadline so they have time to accommodate your request.

Important Mandatory Dates for the AOA

Spring Training - TBD, Late April or May

Commencement, June 14, 2020 - this is the Sunday after the end of finals.

Fall Training - TBD, early September (before New Student Move-In)
