Social Justice and Community CoCurricular Programs CUIP Intern 
The Chancellor's Undergraduate Internship Program position provides leadership in planning and teaching John R. Lewis College 2-credit class, facilitating a leadership group, and developing other programs to enhance the college's theme of Social Justice and Community. International Living Center Special Programs Assistant

Praxis CUIP Intern

Faculty Initiatives Program Assistant 
Assist in the development and implementation of programs that bring together faculty and students from John R. Lewis College in meaningful interactions that enhance co-curricular learning related to the college's theme. Plan faculty presentations, field trips and other programs. Special Projects Assistant
Works closely with professional and other student staff to develop passive or interactive opportunities that highlight issues related to the themes of both colleges through pop-ups, booths, installations, poster campaigns, tabling events, interactive creative opportunities as well as visual representations of theme-related issues for the CoCurricular Programs Office (Coco). Community Program Assistants (CPAs) 
Community Programs Assistants are part of the College Nine and John R. Lewis College Programs & Activities Team and work under the general supervision of the College Programs Coordinator. The Programs & Activities staff plan and produce community-wide programming at College Nine and John R. Lewis College (College Nights, Dances, etc.), and works collaboratively with other college units, staff at other colleges, departments, and student organizations. The Programs & Activities staff is also primarily responsible for campus-wide programs at College Nine and John R. Lewis College, including Welcome Week and the College Nine and John R. Fall Planning Assistant (FPA) 
The Fall Planning Assistant is part of the College Nine and John R. Lewis College Programs & Activities Team and work under the general supervision of the College Programs Coordinator. The FPA helps to develop, plan, implement and document Welcome Week at College Nine and John R. Lewis College, as well as student-staff and volunteer training for the Activities Office. The FPA works extensively with the Orientation Leaders, so previous experience as an Orientation Leader is required. The FPA is hired in Spring Quarter, and works through the summer into Fall Quarter. Check back soon for more detailed information.

Alternative Spring Break (ASB) Leader
Upper Division College Nine students with experience in service learning through Praxis, Esprit de Corps, or another comparable organization, are invited to apply to lead an ASB in our local Santa Cruz Community over spring break. Student works closely with (H)ACER in recruiting student participants, interacting with local non-profits, planning the weeklong service activities, developing an educational component, evaluating the trip, and helping to plan the Volunteer Recognition Ceremony at the end of spring quarter. Mailroom Clerk 
Sort and distribute U.S. and intercampus mail; maintain logs of registered, insured and express mail; maintain current records of student addresses; must be able to work a variable schedule between 10am and 5pm for a minimum 2-hour block of time; evening and Saturday morning hours available. Assist the John R. Lewis College programming units or outside groups with setting up events and operating audio/visual equipment needed for programs. Hours vary - evening and weekends required, incl. Terry Freitas Café Barista 
A Terry Freitas barista works with a dynamic team to support the general functions of the daytime and nighttime Café facilities. Along with donation management, food shopping, and coffee preparation, a barista is expected to contribute ideas and energy toward evening programming that serves to both entertain and educate the College Nine and John R. Office Assistant Positions (OA)
