Student Leadership
John R. Lewis College has its own student government or senate, serving as a voice for students, organizing events, allocating funding, and offering leadership opportunities. Whether you’re looking to share ideas, plan programs, or advocate for your peers, there’s a place for you!

Student Scholarships & Funds
John R. Lewis College offers scholarships, awards, and project funding to support students in their academic, creative, and leadership goals. Some opportunities are open to all students, while others are specific to John R. Lewis College affiliates.

Good Trouble Academy
The Good Trouble Academy celebrates John R. Lewis College students who engage in academics and leadership rooted in social justice and community, offering a certificate, stole, and recognition at graduation.

Garden Club
The College Nine and John R. Lewis College Community Garden is a student-led space for growing food, practicing sustainability, and building community. Rooted in the colleges’ themes of social justice, community, and global perspectives, the garden also offers events, volunteer opportunities, and a spring course (CLNI 70) for hands-on learning.

Murals
With 35 murals across College Nine and John R. Lewis College, art is an important part of our community spaces. Each mural reflects the colleges’ themes of global perspectives, social justice, and community. Students are invited to contribute their own work by submitting a mural proposal.

CoCurricular Programs Office
The CoCurricular Programs Office creates opportunities for College Nine and John R. Lewis College students to learn, lead, and connect beyond the classroom.
